What is Photo Story? Microsoft Photo Story is a free application that you can download from the Internet. It allows users to create a presentation from their digital photos, including still images, music, and narration. Download here.
Some General Ideas for Use: to promote upcoming school events, to document field trips or other school events, to highlight student work, to introduce your course on Open House night, to identify/explain a series of images, to sequence events in a timeline, to promote books, to summarize a story, to create a biography or an autobiography, etc.!!!
What are citation generators? Online tools which facilitate the creation of works cited pages. In most cases, students input the data about the resources, and the applications format the output according to guidelines and standards, such as the MLA Style Manual.

Easy Bib(A personal favorite, because it will easily save multiple citations for a works cited page.)

What is a blog? An online diary; a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a Web page, which can include images, videos, etc. Blogs are typically updated on a frequent basis, and others can comment on the author's entries.

The teacher can not only manage the student sites, but he can also set it up so that each posting / comment must be approved by the teacher. Students need not have email addresses to have branch-off blogging sites, and the teacher can make the sites as public or as private as he likes. Students can customize their sites as well.
What is a podcast? An audio file which is published on the Internet. A true podcast is designed for playback on portable digital audio payers (such as iPods) as well as computers and is delivered via an RSS feed over the Internet to subscribers. Download Audacity here.

It is a free online service. Once created, you can share these as widgets or links on your wiki, blog, profile and email messages.
